Temporary Part-time Teaching Assistant

Due to increasing numbers of children to our popular, vibrant school, the children, staff and governors at Corfe Castle CE Primary School are looking for an energetic, enthusiastic and highly motivated teaching assistant. The post will involve delivering interventions, supporting the class teacher and some 1:1 work: flexibility within our inclusive team is essential.

Hours: 16.5 per week over 3 days.

Temporary position until 25th July 2018

The successful applicant will be dedicated and committed, with excellent interpersonal and communication skills. The ability to engage and motivate learners while using their own initiative is essential.  Previous experience as a teaching assistant and working with children in small groups, along with a knowledge of Special Educational Needs is desirable. This post would ideally suit someone with experience as a class TA who has a genuine desire to really make a positive difference to children’s lives.
