The governors, leadership team, staff and parents of a child in our school wish to appoint a committed, enthusiastic and excellent teaching assistant to work 1:1 supporting a child with special needs in KS2. The successful applicant will be someone with a strong vocational commitment to improve the life chances of a child with medical needs.
The young man in question is a delightful and engaging individual who is living with MPS (www.mpssociety.org.uk). Both we and his parents are seeking the right person to support him in achieving all that he is capable of achieving.
Our ideal candidate will be flexible and adaptable. We are looking for a TA who can support a child proactively with medical needs and work flexibly within groupwork in the classroom.
You need to be able to work on your own initative as well as in close proximity with a team. Boundless energy and sense of humour are essential!
You must possess a willingness to be reflective, be committed to continual improvement through professional dialogue and exploration and enjoy working flexibly as part of a team. If you fit this criteria and feel you can take a pro-active role in helping our children to be the best they can be then we would love to hear from you.
