To participate in the efficient, effective operation of the Force’s Command Centre by answering and responding to non-emergency calls and making every contact count by ‘getting it right first time’. Providing a high quality service to members of the public, police officers and police staff.
We offer a rolling shift pattern which spans the hours 0830 to 2230hrs and includes some weekend working. This attracts a 12.5% shift allowance, and enhancements for weekend working. Preferred flexible working options of 18.5 or 24.67 hours job share are also available.
We also offer full time (37 hours) or a preferred flexible working option of 18.5 hours job share for staff working a week day non-shift contract:
The basic commencing salary will be within Scale C £18,486 rising to £19,704 by annual increments.
In addition to basic salary, enhancements are payable for unsocial hours (12.5% if working shifts) and weekend working. Including shift allowance, the starting salary is £20,796 rising by annual increments to £22,167
