Team Member Job Description

Job Title: Team Member

Reports to: Store Manager.  Assistant Manager and Team Leaders when running the shift without the Store Manager.

Job Purpose: To deliver the Chococo experience, in line with brand standards

·         Worked in the Hospitality/Retail Industry

·         Enthusiasm to execute outstanding customer service

·         Friendly and smiley manner

·         Energetic and positive attitude and approach to work

·         Willing to learn

·         Curious & interested in food and our ethos, keen to learn more about Chocolate, Coffee and Gelato

·         Communicate confidently with customers, and able to build conversations

·         Flexible approach (ability to be multi skilled)

·         Ability to work within a team and individually (dependant on volume of shift)

·         Honest, open and reliable

·         Presentable

·         Flexible/committed to be available for shifts


·         Shows initiative

Key Accountabilities:

·         To deliver the highest levels of customer service in line with brand standards

·         To produce & serve all drinks to brand standards & recipes

·         To produce & present all food to brand standards

·         To produce, pack and present all chocolate to brand standards.

·         Maintain stock levels/availability by replenishing displays/fridges within company guidelines/planograms, rotating stock to ensure compliance with company health & safety guidelines

·         To maintain standards of Health, Safety &
cleanliness in brand guidelines and standards

·         To sell & demonstrate product knowledge by
advising the customer/answering queries &
suggesting products to the customer as part of the ordering process. Act on initiative to optimise sales to the customer

·         To operate the till in line with brand till operation & cash handling procedures

·         To maintain customer areas to company standards

·         To attend work at designated shifts (Time and attendance)

·         To attend team meetings as required

·         To complete all tasks required by the daily cleaning schedule

·         To follow all policies set outlined the Company Employee Handbook
