Working as part of the Audit, Insurance and Strategic Risk Management Department. The insurance officer post works within the Insurance function of the department.
Reporting to the Senior Insurance Officer the purpose of this post is to manage the day to day administration and control of the insurance arrangements for the four legal entities. (Devon & Cornwall Police and Dorset Police and OPCC of Devon & Cornwall and OPCC Dorset).
The commencing salary will be within Scale D starting at £20,115 rising yearly to a maximum of £22,275 per annum.
There is no specific health monitoring attached to this post. However, it is possible that this post will handle insurance claims that may include details of fatality or severe injury.
