In this challenging role, you’ll be leading a team of between 5 and 10 technical specialists designing and delivering ICT solutions that support customers in finance, HR, learning and development, estates management and fleet across both Dorset Police and Devon & Cornwall Police.
Your particular skill will be in liaising with those customers, identifying their needs and offering solutions that help them work in more joined up ways. Examples of recent projects delivered by the team include new fleet management, duties management and online recruitment systems.
To succeed in this role, you’ll need excellent customer relationship management skills, team leadership and management skills, ICT service management skills and a wide spread of technical skills in developing and supporting ICT applications (using formal methods such as ITIL or PRINCE2 where appropriate).
Hands on experience with Unit4 Business World On! or other finance, HR or ERP systems would be an advantage.

The commencing salary will be within Grade 8 starting at £35,481 rising by yearly increments to a maximum of £39,669 per annum.
