Community Support Worker

£11.44-£11.60 per hour,

We are looking for support workers to join our growing team, to work regular hours (2-4 days per week), Monday-Friday between 9am-4pm. This is a rewarding opportunity to make a positive impact in the lives of others.

H&H Care is a day opportunity service for disabled adults with learning difficulties and anxieties. If you are interested in helping to support our clients at our H&H Hubs and within the community to grow in confidence and maintain a social and active life then please get in touch.

H&H Care is a small friendly team who pride themselves on being able to draw on each team members strengths. We are looking for some one who is enthusiastic to share their ideas and encourage our clients to grow in confidence and enjoy life. H&H Care is community based; our clients enjoy trips to the beach, the forest, parks, bowling, crazy golf, as well as cooking, craft, dance and movement, gardening activities and many more.

H&H Care recognise the importance of giving our new staff the support and time needed to settle into their new role. In turn providing a high standard of care to our clients.

 

Responsibilities:

-Support individuals with daily activities.

-Care needs vary between clients, so staff must be able to support them with eating, personal care and mobility

- Assist with medication administration as directed by healthcare professionals.

- Implement behavior management strategies to promote positive interactions and minimize challenging behaviors.

- Provide emotional support and companionship to individuals, fostering a safe and nurturing environment.

- Monitor and report any changes in the individual's condition or behavior.

- Maintain accurate documentation of care provided and any observations made.

 

Minimum requirements:

-To be caring and supportive

-Friendly and approachable

-Right to work within the UK

-Good communication skills

-Willingness to learn

-Having an Enhanced DBS is an advantage, however, if you do not have one, we will apply for one for you.

-No experience or qualifications are needed, although preferable

-A clean UK driving licence is required.

-Your own vehicle with proof of business insurance
