We are a very popular village pub/restaurant with rooms in the heart of Corfe Castle in Dorset set in the shadow of the historic castle itself with a large local following.

Under new ownership, the Bankes Arms is entering an exciting period of change. Fresh ideas, great food, refurbishment throughout.

Our team are dedicated to serving quality food with a focus on fresh, quality, locally sourced ingredients and supported by friendly, exceptional service.

With indoor seating for 70 across our 3 dining rooms, in addition to our patio and garden during the summer months when the sun is shining.

Chef de Partie

We currently have an opportunity for a CDP to join our experienced, close-knit kitchen team. If you’re looking for a place where your skills matter and you can grow while cooking great food, we’d love to meet you.

Your Role
You’ll be at the heart of our kitchen, ensuring smooth service and consistently high standards. Working alongside a supportive team, you’ll create dishes our guests love, help with menu planning, and keep the kitchen organised during busy services. This is a fantastic role for someone who is hands-on, takes pride in their craft, and enjoys being part of a team.

• At least 2 years of experience in a commercial kitchen
• A genuine team player who thrives in a fast-paced environment
• Passion for creating and serving great food every time
• Excellent communication skills and a positive attitude
