Following 10 busy summer seasons Coastal Tents are looking to employ some keen individuals for the season who want to earn good money working outdoors.

The main part of our work is putting up giant Tipis and marquees at venues, private gardens and festivals. You will be travelling to site (we will provide transport), putting up marquees and then returning from site. It is a physical job but we have a good crew and we work as a team to create great outcomes for our clients.

We imagine this job would suit a school leaver looking for work before going travelling or a university course due to its seasonal nature but anyone can apply and we will assess each application on it's merits. We have a solid timetable of work from May until end of September and are happy to take people on shorter term for June and July only if you want to go travelling etc. We are flexible with transport issues but ideally the candidate will travel to our base in Harmans Cross to start work each day or be collected in Swanage. If you can drive and are over 25 this can be useful but not essential. Any experience towing trailers is also excellent.

We are happy to have part timers as long as you can commit to a pattern throughout the season.

Our general working pattern is Monday to Friday with Sunday takedowns. We will happily take people who just want to work Sunday as well if it fits in with their work pattern.

Some days are long but all hours are paid including travel hours so they can also be rewarding. 

Other roles will include helping with cleaning equipment between jobs and loading and preparing equipment for jobs.

If you can drive long wheel based vans then additional pay is available.
